Raw Food Classes in San Diego

Closing the Gap & Monday Night Live

CLOSING THE GAP CLASS:  Saturdays 1:30 – 6:30 pm:  Cost $100

The class about closing the gap between the doctors who tell how raw food can be good for us and the raw food chef who tell us how good raw food can be to us. The class is about empowerment – how to make a significantly raw food diet work in your real life.

In the space of a 5-hour class I’ll show you the organization of my kitchen and my systems of advance preparation. We’ll discuss what you want to accomplish with raw food and what your perceived challenges are. We’ll make a few “Quick & Easy” raw meals from my dehydrated and perishable pantries. We’ll make a few of the pantry items, a bread, a spread, a dessert, all while I show just how easy it all can be with a “no worries” attitude.

Then I’ll take requests and we’ll make the foods you’d like to make. I have a full-service raw-food kitchen and we can make just about anything. The key is to start with the sensations in mind. Like if you wanted to RawCreate a jelly donut, think about what you love about sinking your teeth into one, and that’s where we’ll start. Playing with your food can be fun.

Class held at my home in San Diego overlooking the City and the Pacific Ocean.

Notes and organic, vegan food provided. Hands-on experience by request. Special dietary needs provided for such as gluten-free, low-sodium, low-fat, low-glycemic…
